Really love this place since childhood. The place is mostly known as Paathrakkadavu. You can visit here with your friends and family anytime other than the monsoon.
Take swimming goggles to wear underwater to swim through the rocks, you'll love it. This place has crystal clear water and is very cold and refreshing.
The road is very smooth and for 1 km until u reach there is very bad.
Reminder:
Be careful with the kids as the rocks are very slippery to get a hold on.
One mistake and your life is at stake.
DO NOT VISIT IN THE MONSOON as there are a lot accidents happened, even DEATH.
Kuruthichal is a less known tourist destination located near Kumaramputhur in Palakkad district of Kerala. Also known as Virgin Valley, thsi is one of the best hangout places in Palakkad. Its in the banks of Kunthipuzha River which is one of the tributaries of the river Thuthapuzha which flows through the Silent Valley National Park. An awesome place with an awesome ambiance. This is one of my favourite places. It's a small waterfall and you can enjoy this place with or without entering the place. I will not recommend the place during the rainy season you can very well go here from the December month onwards till raining time.
